Inspired by a piece
of “concept” art from the development of the award-winning
Batman: The Animated
Series television show.
This
art was part of a body of work, which helped evolve the
now-famous Bruce Timm-style character design, which features an
ultra-modern, angular and dramatically graphic departure from
previous Dark Knight representations.
The
original drawing was rendered by Tommy Tejeda under Bruce
Timm’s art direction, hand-inked by Laurie Dindis and the
background painted by Hector Martinez.
Each
cel is signed by Bruce Timm
Originally
released in October of 2000 at WBSS, we are now releasing the
balance of the original edition.
