The Perfect Alliance is a gatefold image
taken from “The World’s Greatest Super Heroes,” which
utilizes artwork by award-winning artist Alex Ross and
accompanying text written by Emmy Award-winning writer, Paul
Dini.

“The World’s Greatest Super Heroes”
chronicles the origins of DC Comics leading characters,
including Superman, Batman, Shazam and Wonder Woman as well
as heroes from the Justice League of America.

For this and other images created by Ross,
he uses models who are carefully selected with the intent of
representing the classic DC Comics’ style of hero. Facial
and body features that are strong yet not overtly muscular,
making these super heroes more relatable on a human level.
