“In the Light of Justice” was originally
created as a triptych, which each of the three panels featured
as cover art for Wizard Magazine. Under Ross’s supervision,
the three images were digitally united to create the final
image.

As Ross has done with his other superhero
portraits, each character here is rendered to show strong and
intense emotion.

Ross’s ability to show such human aspects
within the DC Comics superheroes has garnered him attention
not just from comic book and animation fans, but from those in
traditional fine art, as well as the Hollywood entertainment
industry.
