- The “Bugs Director” piece is the first installment of the Vintage Cartoon Series, which is a progression of vintage imagery taken from classic Warner Bros. placards.
- These placards were used in the 1930s through to the ‘60s for promotion of upcoming Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes cartoons.
- Close attention has been paid to the background of this fine art piece to capture the style and detail within the
original.
- The 25 AP cels of "Bugs Director" are distinguished by the use of hand-painted images of Elmer, Porky, Daffy, Tweety and Sniffles. In the regular edition and the original art, all of the characters except Bugs are represented by black line only.
