- Created by DC Comics artist Alex Ross, Mythology: Flash
is the companion piece to Mythology: Batman, Mythology:
Superman, Mythology: Wonder Woman, and Mythology: Green
Lantern.
- Flash was created in 1940 by writer Gardener Fox and
artist Harry Lampert. His debut was in Flash Comics #1,
which featured Flash, Hawkman and an ensemble of other
newly-emerging heroes.
- As Ross did with his other Mythology pieces, Flash is
rendered very close and dramatically, bringing him directly
to the viewer. This image was created exclusively for
Clampett Studio Collections and has never been previously
published.
- Ross’s portrayal of the Flash captures the speed at
which the superhero moves, while also focusing on Flash’s
expression as it reflects his sardonic personality.
- Each piece in the Mythology: Flash edition is hand
signed by Alex Ross.
