About Our Studio

You may be wondering, “What is Clampett Studio Collections and why do they refer to themselves as Home of the Warner Bros. Gallery Program?”

Clampett Studio Collections was created in response to the closing of the Warner Bros. Studio Stores as a way to continue the animation art business with such notable properties such as Looney Tunes, Hanna Barbera, DC Comics and Harry Potter. Our company was awarded the Gallery License from Warner Bros. Consumer Products in late July of 2001, and our business officially opened in early September of that same year.

The owner and founder of this business is Ruth Clampett, daughter of famed Animation Director Bob Clampett, thus the company name: Clampett Studio Collections. Warner Bros. felt that Ruth was the most qualified to run this area of the WB business not just because of her family history and connection to the Studio, but due to her experience as an executive at Warner Bros. Studio Stores for eight years. As Vice President of Design, Ruth oversaw design for all store product including the exclusive Gallery area.

Ruth has put together a team at CSC of long-time Animation Art professionals. Our cumulative experience in the animation art business totals over 100 years. Our agreement with Warner Bros. covers three key areas: we acquired and are the distributors for the unframed inventory from Warner Bros. Studio Stores, secondly we have the license to publish art from the Time Warner library of cartoons and films, and thirdly we are the Licensing Agent representing WB properties for other companies interested in the Gallery and high-end collectible business.

Our offices are in Hollywood in the building that Ruth’s parents produced Beany and Cecil during the late 50’s early 60’s. We pride ourselves on strong relationships with the artists we represent, and a close alliance with our associates at Warner Bros. Our primary focus is to provide and create the most innovative, well-designed animation art of the highest integrity. If in the end, a collector is happy with something we have produced, then we know we have succeeded.
